A valley landmark uses geothermal HVAC from Johnson Air

Copper River Country Club is a masterpiece created from the dreams of Fresnan William R. Tatham Sr. As a result of commitment and enduring effort, his vision of an upscale, master-planned community is becoming a reality – and a precious gem in California’s treasured San Joaquin Valley.

Copper River called on Johnson Air to design a HVAC system that would keep guests comfortable, and virtually eliminate the outdoor space requirements for heating and cooling equipment. Johnson Air proposed using a geothermal system, that virtually eliminated outdoor noise, and kept HVAC equipment invisible to guests. By working with the architect and owner, Johnson Air installed a air conditioning and heating system that exceeded expectations on the 30,000 square foot clubhouse, childcare center, and Tennis Pavilion. Johnson Air also helped to design and furnish sheet metal work on the project, including beautiful a copper spire and dome on the clubhouse.

Johnson Air continues to serve Copper River through scheduled maintenance that has kept Copper River comfortable and energy efficient all year long.
